Bedford schools to hold special meeting about layoffs

TEMPERANCE — The Bedford Board of Education is to hold a special meeting at 6 pm Tuesday at the senior high school to authorize layoffs as part of a cost-cutting campaign to balance its budget. The layoff notices were expected.
